These Terms take effect and become binding upon you as soon as you click reactivate your account. Your acceptance of these terms implies the binding acceptance of Gleec’s BTC Exchange General Terms of Use (https://exchange.gleec.com/pt/terms-of-use) and Privacy Policy (https://exchange.gleec.com/pt/privacy-policy).
New terms or policies may be added from time to time. You affirm that you have read and understand these Terms, any other terms, and policies applicable with respect to the Platform, Privacy Policy, and, especially, the Risk Disclosures set forth in the General Terms of Service. You further affirm that you will regularly check for updates to these documents on the Website or other channels made available at the Website and will read and be bound by any such updates.

These Terms govern only the access by former Blocktane Users (“User”) to Gleec BTC Exchange (the “Company,” “we”, “us”, “our” or “Gleec”), with regard to the storage and trading of Blocktanium (BKT), Blocktane’s native Token on Gleec’s Platform. Each of you and us is a “Party” (and together, “Parties”).
“BKT” is the ticker symbol for Blocktane’s native token, Blocktanium, an ERC-20 format Ethereum blockchain network digital product with a smart contract address of 0x9d62526f5Ce701950c30F2cACa70Edf70f9fbf0F. BKT does not confer to its possessor any rights, title, claim, or interest in the assets, income, or property of Blocktane companies, partners, or affiliates of any kind. BKT was solely a rewards instrument with utility within Blocktane services described elsewhere within Blocktane’s web properties.
“GLEEC” is the ticker symbol for GLEEC Coin, a blockchain network digital product developed in Komodo Smart chain Protocol. GLEEC does not confer to its possessor any rights, title, claim, or interest in the assets, income, or property of Gleec companies, partners, or affiliates of any kind. GLEEC is solely a rewards instrument with utility within Gleec’s services described elsewhere within Gleec’s BTC Exchange web properties.
You understand that the relationship between the two companies stems from the acquisition of Blocktane Ltd. by Gleec BTC Exchange. Thus, for all legal purposes, the Company has, from now on, control over Blocktane’s legal rights, intellectual property, database, and user base.
As a result of this merger process, former Blocktane users will have available at GLEEC’s account the amount of Blocktanium (BKT) previously held in Blocktane’s account.
An order book will be created for the pair BKT/GLEEC and Blocktane users will have direct access to Gleec’s BTC Exchange, as long as they (i) fully agree with these terms, (ii) fully agree with the general Gleec’s Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and (iii) have completed the personal verification process (KYC).
The BKT/GLEEC order book will be governed by market supply and demand variations, therefore, Token prices are under a free float, and the Company will have no control over it. User fully comprehends and accepts that will be no one-to-one ratio between BKT and GLEEC.
The possibility of exchanging BKT for GLEEC does not constitute, in any way, a Token swap, and therefore, does not entail equivalence of values from one Token to another. The user understands that BKT has suffered devaluation after Blocktane suspended its activities and that GLEEC is not obligated to indemnify, refund or in any way compensate any amount lost in this process.
The User comprehends that Gleec BTC Exchange will only be responsible for Blocktanium (BKT), and, accordingly, will not refund any other Token or fiat amount the user held on the account by the time of suspension of activities.
User comprehends and agrees that the GLEEC Token does not confer any rights, either express or implied, other than limited rights relating to the provision and receipt of Services on the Platform as available from time to time, subject to limitations and conditions detailed on the Website. You understand that having a balance in BKT will give you no rights or benefits when interacting with Gleec’s Platform or using its services.
By accessing your Gleec account you expressly agree to these Terms and further confirm to fully understand the risks of using Gleec BTC Exchange, Gleec Coin, or any other services provided.
This document does not constitute a prospectus of any sort, is not a solicitation for investment or any kind, does not pertain in any way to an initial public offering or a share/equity offering, and does not pertain in any way to an offering of securities in any jurisdiction.
By exchanging BKT for GLEEC, no form of partnership, joint venture, agency, or any similar relationship between you and the Company and/or other individuals or entities involved with the deployment or operation of the Platform is created.
All deliveries of BKT will be made automatically using Blocktane transaction records. The user understands and agrees that only data collected and processed by the Blocktane system will be considered for this purpose. User personal records will not be considered to define the amount of BKT to be credited to the account.
Any trade made using Gleec’s Platform, which includes the pairs BKT/GLEEC, will be subject to fees previously established.
Blocktane users that did not finish the verification process (Know Your Customer – KYC) will only be able to trade any amount on Gleec’s Platform after completing all KYC steps.
Users that do not finish the verification process and account activation process until the last day of April of 2023 will have their BKT balance zeroed for all purposes and will be unable to recover any previously existing amount.
After agreeing to these terms and completing the verification process, the user must change his password. After these steps, User will be able to use the Gleec BTC Exchange normally.
The loss of the previous BKT balance mentioned in topic 2.1 does not prevent the User from activating his account on Gleec’s Platform at any time.
You acknowledge and agree that there are risks associated with purchasing, holding, and exchanging Tokens and Coins, including but not limited to BKT or GLEEC, and comprehend all the risks outlined in the Risk Disclosures set forth in General Terms of Use.
You will implement reasonable and appropriate measures designed to secure access to (i) any device connected with the email address associated with your account, (ii) private keys required to access any relevant Platform address, and (iii) your username, password, and any other login or identifying credentials.
You will provide to us, or our nominee, immediately upon our request, information that we, in our sole discretion, deem to be required to maintain compliance with any federal, state, local, domestic, or foreign law, regulation, or policy, including any "Know Your Customer" (“KYC”) requirements and policies. Such information may include a passport, driver's license, utility bill, photograph of you, or government identification cards, and we, or our nominee, may keep a copy of such information for our records. Such information will be used by us, or our nominee, to confirm compliance with any laws or regulations.
We may use aggregate statistical information about your activity, including your activity on the Website or Platform and logins to various websites, for marketing or any other purpose, in our sole discretion. We may use your internet protocol address to verify your activity. However, we will not release your personally-identifying information to any third party without your consent, except as not prohibited by law or as outlined in general Terms of Use or any other terms or policies applicable concerning the Platform. We may determine, in our sole discretion, that it is necessary to obtain certain information about you (e.g., identity, address, source of wealth) in order to comply with applicable laws or regulations in connection with GLEEC services or otherwise confirm you are an Eligible Investor and not a Restricted Person. You shall provide us with such information promptly upon request, and you acknowledge that we may refuse to allow you to use any services until you provide such requested information.
Not Securities: The user comprehends that nor BKT nor GLEEC are intended to be a digital currency, security, commodity, or any other kind of financial instrument. These Terms do not constitute an invitation to the public to subscribe to any securities.
Blockchain and Cryptocurrencies Inherent Risks: Transactions using blockchain technology are at risk of multiple potential failures, including a high volume of transactions, computer failure, blockchain failure of any kind, user failure, Token theft, Platform hacking, and telecommunications or internet failure or disruption. We are not responsible for any loss of data, Tokens, or other cryptocurrencies, hardware, or software resulting from any type of failure, theft, or hack. You understand that the Tokens, blockchain technology, the Platform, and other cryptocurrency are new and untested technologies outside of our control and, therefore, adverse changes in market forces, law, or technology will excuse our performance under these terms. Please, review the Risk Disclosures outlined in the General Terms of Service.
Risk of Illiquid Markets for BKT: The Company is not aware of any marketplace for BKT and there may never be any such other marketplace for it. With time, the BKT value may be extremely volatile and diminish to zero. If (despite your representations to us to the contrary) you are holding BKT as a form of investment on a speculative basis or otherwise, or for a financial purpose, with the expectation or desire that their inherent, intrinsic, or cash-equivalent value may increase with time, you assume all risks associated with such speculation or actions, and any errors associated therewith.
These Terms and/or any Terms and Policies applicable concerning the Platform may be modified by us at any time by posting a revised version on the Website. It is your responsibility to check the Website and other channels regularly for modifications. Your continued use of the Tokens or the Platform after any modification becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of it.
These terms integrate, for any legal purposes, the General Terms of Use, and refer only to Gleec BTC Exchange. For using use any other services provided by Gleec (such as Gleec Pay or Gleec Card) you must agree to the specific terms and conditions of those services. Be sure to carefully review those documents before using any of the other provided services.
These Terms and Conditions are in addition to, and do not alter or replace Gleec’s general Terms of Use and Privacy Policy and may be incorporated by reference.
These Terms have been prepared in English, and the English version thereof shall prevail and be binding even though other language translations may also be prepared for convenience.
